Top ROH & Indy Talents Set For WWE Tryouts + More
Posted on 20 Jan 2013 by TheWrestlingAnswer.com

Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter

-- Mark and Jay Briscoe, Ricky Reyes, Sami Callihan and Adam Cole are all scheduled to take part in WWE tryouts in Florida at the end of the month. The wrestlers are slated to take part in a three-day camp.

-- The return of OMEGA Pro Wrestling on 1/15 for a special event called Chinlock for Chuck drew nearly 1,000 fans and raised close to $15,000 for Chuck Coates. The show was promoted by Shane Helms, Mike Maverick and David Coates. The event featured Helms, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, James Storm, Steve Corino, CW Anderson, Lodi, Gunner and more on the card.

-- As noted earlier here on the website, pro wrestling magazines "The Wrestler" and "Inside Wrestling" have been discontinued as of the most recent issue featuring CM Punk and Paul Heyman on one cover and Jeff Hardy on the other cover. The two magazines were the primary publications known for a long time as "Apter-mags" created by Bill Apter. The magazines became a double-sided issue in 2004. The publication goes back as far 1966. The only remaining pro wrestling magazine still in publication outside of the WWE Magazine is now Pro Wrestling Illustrated.
