A number of media outlets including the Wall Street Journal have picked up WWE's press release about John Cena's emergency surgery yesterday. The release notes he went under the knife for "injuries received during last Sunday's SummerSlam(R) Pay-Per-View match." As previously noted, this is just an angle, and the nagging injury wasn't due to the match.
JBL's Mamajuana sex/energy drink is going to be distributed by the Innovative Beverage Group throughout the state of Texas. It should be available in grocery stores within Houston, Dallas and San Antonio in the near future.
Internet rumors of WWE signing SHIMMER women's wrestler Danyah Rivietz to a developmental contract remain unfounded. Also, SHIMMER promoter Dave Prazak posts on a few wrestling message boards and he said the rumors are untrue.
