» The Miami Herald has a story on former WWE star Romeo of the Heart Throbs, who is now going under the name Giovanni Roselli. He has a role in the upcoming Darren Aronofsky film The Wrestler. Since his release from WWE in 2006, Roselli has worked as a personal trainer, independent wrestler, and actor in films such as College Road Trip and Baby Mama. » Wrestling legend Terry Funk was advertised to wrestle on Saturday night in Robersonville, NC but didn’t perform due to a knee injury. Jake Roberts was brought in to replace Funk, in a six-man cage match with Ryan Sawyer and Kevin Payne vs. Steve Corino, CW Anderson and Ricky Landell. The show drew over 1,000 fans.
» Tony Atlas originally was supposed to wear a regular shirt out to ringside when he accompanies Mark Henry, but he insisted on a sleeveless one so he can show off his arms. They kind of go both ways these days though.
