» Believe it or not, Vince McMahon contacted Hulk Hogan within the last two months about appearing on WWE's upcoming Tribute to the Troops show in Iraq. Hogan turned down the offer for various reasons. Vince has pitched the idea to Hogan several times over the years and Hogan turns him down every time. One of the main reasons Hogan declined the offer is that his divorce has been described as a "full-time job" for him. This was also before the whole CCW deal as well which Vince now can't stand Hogan over.
» WWE talent touched down in Iraq yesterday. Talent has since been sent off to different operating bases for visits. The Tribute to the Troops special will be taped on 12/5 at the Camp Liberty Base Complex in Baghdad, Iraq. The special will air on 12/20 on NBC.
» Jim Ross wrote on JRsBarBQ.com that WWE Hall of Famer Bret "The Hitman" Hart underwent knee replacement surgery on Monday in Calgary. Bret is already up and using his walker and expects to return home this week. The Hitman will likely head back to his home in Kona, Hawaii in January.
