» The ninth season of The Apprentice - and third Celebrity Apprentice, kicks off tonight on NBC from 9-11EST where two former wrestling personalities will be taking part. The recently released Maria Kanellis and former World champion Bill Goldberg are both in the new series and on different teams. Goldberg is on team "Rocksolid" while Kanellis is on team "Tenacity." Twelve other celebrities will be joining them for this season including former Governor of Illinois Rod Blagojevich, singer Cyndi Lauper, Sharon Osbourne and Bret Michaels. Goldberg is playing for the Specchio Family Foundation in support of "Sons of the Fallen" charity while Kanellis chose the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Kanellis was sent to the show after a request from McMahon family friend Donald Trump. The series was shot between October and November of last year. Check out the season premiere tonight from 9-11EST.
» Jay sent this email in: As a follow up to my email last week regarding the unprofessional attitude of ShopTNA, I would like to update the situation. I ordered $80 worth of merchandise on 2/22, and I was charged a few days later. I received an email on 3/2 stating my order was being packed. I later filed a chargeback claim with my Visa card. After finally being able to reach ShopTNA, the Visa representative told me that TNA said that one of the items was on backorder. The Visa rep. also said that TNA told them they had sent me an email which they didn't. All I received was a generic "being packed" email which everyone seems to have. "Being packed" doesn't mean backorder, and you would think that TNA would have the courtesy to let customers know that an item is on backorder before you put it in your shopping cart. Also, TNA needs to tell their customers personally what is going on with an order rather than finding out after filing a Visa claim. So, after all this travel, it is 18 days later, my order STILL has not shipped, and the items (which I was going to give as gifts on March 5th) are useless at this point. I hope anyone considers this hassle before they order anything from ShopTNA in the future. On a side note, the first commercial aired on the March 8th edition of Impact was for ShopTNA right after the opening segment ended. That is a cruel irony in my eyes.
» In an interview with IGN.com, Roddy Piper discusses this year's Hall of Fame, his appearance on the next episode of "Cold Case" and more. When asked about this year's Hall of Fame, Piper had this to say: "Yes, I'm inducting Wendi Richter. Yeah, from back in the Cyndi Lauper days. I'm the only one left around that knows anything about her. I said to Vince McMahon, "What am I inducting Richter for?" and he said, "You're the only one alive." (laughs) Thank you, Vince. But she's a really cool gal. You know the guy from the first Super Bowl, Fred Williamson, talks about how great it was to be a part of the first Super Bowl. And that's great because he was a wonderful player. But I was in the first Wrestlemania and I'm at Wrestlemania XXVI. And all the ones in between. Holy Cow, man. Wrestlers are the best."
