We are in Baton Rouge, Louisiana! Your hosts are Todd Grisham & Matt Striker, and we are nine days away from the Elimination Chamber PPV. They hype the upcoming card, featuring Chris Jericho vs. Undertaker in a no-disqualification match & R-Truth vs. John Morrison in a first-time matchup.

Match 1:Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk (w/Luke Gallows & Serena)

Holy curtain jerkers, Batman! Rey gets the best of Punk early by being all evasive and stuff, a victory roll gets two, Rey targets the bad knee of Punk (well, it was bad when he did a shoot interview with Samoa Joe in 2006) briefly before being suckered into a test of strength. Silly Rey. But he gets a sunset flip for two and continues targeting that knee. Enziguri by Punk changes the mood and gets a two count. Rey fights out of a seated head scissors, but Punk maintains the advantage with kicks. Rey gets tossed outside, Punk tries to dropkick him, but Rey moves out of the way, and we're at a standoff as we go to commercial…

Punk hits a leg lariat for two, but ends up eating a senton on the outside. That's all right though, as seconds later he dumps Rey into the front row. It's "take home a Mysterio night" in Baton Rogue! Punk takes him back into the ring and hits a flipping senton a la Eddie Guerrero for a two count. Dropkick by Punk into Rey's back while he's wrapped around the ring post! That does a number on him, but Punk shows no mercy while clothes lining him on the outside. Bow and arrow by the Straight Edge Savior has Mysterio in a world of hurt. Rey, as usual, fights out, but Punk hits a nice back suplex into a backbreaker he probably learned from Roderick Strong for two. Punk stretches Rey out but Rey knees his way out…he drop toe holds Punk into the second turnbuckle, heads up…but Punk knocks him off and he's in the Tree of Joey Lawrence! Punk tries the Tajiri style dropkick, but Rey moves out of the way and Punk goes crotch first into the ring post! He'll feel that one tomorrow. Rey up top…seated senton! Cross body off the second gets two! Punk gets his head kicked off after attempting a rollup, cover gets two and a half! Punk hits a big power slam for two, and according to Grisham that move is part of Punk's Muay Thai moveset. I highly doubt that. Anyway, Punk hits the knee in the corner, but Rey ends up getting him in position for the 619...and that's when Serena distracts the ref, Luke Gallows tries to interfere, and it looks like even though they fail our hero Rey will end up Going 2 Sleep…but instead he wiggles out and rolls up Punk for the three count in a very good opening match!

Winner: Rey Mysterio (***¾)

He pays for it after the bell though, as the Straight Edge Society attacks him three on one style. Gallows hits a big backbreaker and splashes him in the corner. Clothesline. Serena adds a kick for good measure, then Gallows lifts Rey onto Punk's back so he can Go 2 Sleep.

Tonight we get Batista's Explanation!

Moments ago, Rey got Punked out by the Straight Edge Society.

WWE Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre vs. Kane

Our Intercontinental Champion walks out to some new music that's rather downbeat. He doesn't care who he faces because he's the IC champ, he's undefeated, and he's unstoppable. Well, if there's anybody that can stop him…Drew has second thoughts and says he has nothing to prove. He dropped Kane last week. He says Kane can have a match next week, but not this week…the bell ringing and Kane kicking Drew outside seem to disagree with Mr. McIntyre's assessment. Drew gets a couple shots in before a Kane clothesline, and he ducks out of the ring before Kane can do his top rope clothesline…

As we return, Drew has an armbar on Kane. Kane fights out, but Drew does knock Kane off his feet with a clothesline. McIntyre is more popular in Scotland than Sean Connery! Whether that's true or not, Kane fights back…clothesline in the corner, Drew elbows a charging Kane, but then runs into a sidewalk slam that gets two. Now Kane goes up top and hits that flying clothesline he's so known for. He then motions for goozle city, but Drew kicks his way out…both men end up tumbling to the floor after a series of finisher teases. They opt to punch each other instead of getting back in the ring before the referee finishes counting.

Winner: No one (double countout) (*)

Drew big boots Kane in the ring, gets the IC belt…but Kane chokeslams him! PYRO! Something tells me our man Drew hasn't seen the last of the Big Red Machine…

Backstage, Mickie James eats some fruit. Holy crap Michelle McCool looks so much taller than everybody else in the scene. They do some fat jokes and Vickie Guerrero gets covered in cottage cheese.

The WWE Divas Valentines Day gallery is up on WWE.com! Yay new material for my news column!

Mickie James vs. Layla (w/Michelle McCool)

Layla actually got an offensive move in the first fifteen seconds, which was more than I was expecting. EXCUSE HER! Vickie is none too happy with Mickie, so she changes the match to…

Mickie James vs. Layla & Michelle McCool

Michelle removes her shoes and it's on like Donkey Kong! Mickie gets the advantage on both of them for most of the match, but Michelle eventually kicks Mickie's head off and the Faithbreaker ends it.

Winners Michelle McCool & Layla (¼*)

I wonder how Maryse feels about Michelle stealing her cover. It was a two minute handicap match where the one got most of the offense. Yay? On the bright side, McCool was smokin' tonight.

Batista is…WALKING!

Let's take a look back at Batista attacking Bret Hart and beating the living crap out of John Cena. And then let's watch him walk out of a match with CM Punk where he could have been entered into the Elimination Chamber. What's up with this guy?

Well, we're about to find out, as Josh Mathews introduces the animalistic denim-clad Batista. No machine gun pose? He is in a strange mood. Josh wonders what provoked Batista's recent actions. Why does he wear sunglasses when there are no lights on? Josh leaves and Batista lets the fans chant "Cena" before sitting on the top turnbuckle. He gets off the turnbuckle, then leaves the ring. He walks around ringside for awhile and lets a Cena fan taunt him. The Cena fan got quite the pop. Batista gets back in the ring, drops the microphone and leaves. I gotta say, this was a lot more compelling when Eddie Guerrero did it during his feud with Rey Mysterio. It does get heat though, as the fans inform Batista that he sucks. He yells "You want an explanation?", then jogs back down to the ring and drops the microphone again. So is it better to get heat for saying something, or for saying nothing at all? I guess the second option is easier.

Theodore Long has recovered enough from receiving Sweet Chin Music to come out and complain about Batista not doing anything the last two weeks. Maybe Batista will feel like competing against Edge on Smackdown next week.

Great Khali & Matt Hardy (w/Ranjin Singh) vs. The Hart Dynasty (w/Natalya)

We get an extra member of the Khardy entourage tonight, as Matt introduces his Valentine…Maria! The fact that Hardy has had several valentines in the wrestling business only proves that wrestling is fake. Khali starts the match and neither Tyson Kidd nor David Hart Smith is too thrilled about locking up with the Punjabi Playboy. Kidd gets the honors, being tossed into the ring. Hardy tags in and immediately the Dynasty takes advantage. Poor strategy by Khardy. Vertical suplex by David gets two. Dropkick to the back of the head by Tyson gets two. CHINLOCK! Hardy fights out, hits a Side Effect, goes for the Twist of Fate, but Natalya trips him up and we get a catfight on the outside! In all of the confusion, Hardy rolls Kidd up for the victory, to the surprise of even Todd Grisham!

Winners: Great Khali & Matt Hardy (*½)

Natalya is spitting mad on the outside, but it's time to play the Ted DiBiase Hall of Fame video. Good times. The next inductee will be revealed on Monday night.

A clip fest follows, and then we finally get back to the action…

R-Truth vs. John Morrison

WHAT'S UP? When did Morrison start giving his sunglasses to kids? I've never seen anybody do that before. They follow the code of honor. Shoulder block by Morrison, then he flips over R-Truth and lands awkwardly on his ankle. Well, so much for that.

Winner: R-Truth (due to Morrison's injury)

R-Truth helps Morrison remove his boot as we look at a replay…let's hope JoMo's healthier than they're implying.

Tony Chimel introduces Edge, who mentions that since he won the Royal Rumble and will main event WrestleMania, he doesn't have to take part in the Elimination Chamber. He gets to face whoever survives. It could be Randy Orton, or John Cena, or Rey Mysterio, or the love child of Brutus Beefcake & Charles Manson - CM Punk. Nice! There is one guy that Edge would really like to face…the guy who's 17-0 at WrestleMania. I guess Edge forgot what happened at WrestleMania XXIV. He gets Batista next week, but his monologue is interrupted by TMZ's favorite wrestler, Chris Jericho. Jericho finds it strange that Edge never mentioned him as a potential opponent…but he's not surprised because he's a bad luck charm for Edge. Jericho doesn't get injured, he wins championships and carries the company on his back. HE IS THE BEST IN THE WORLD AT WHAT HE DOES. Edge should save himself some grief and choose the winner of the Raw Elimination Chamber match instead of Jericho, who will win the Smackdown match and walk out World Champion. Stay away from him! If you doubt him, watch what happens tonight when he beats the Undertaker.

Jericho's promo is followed by the Undertaker's DONG, and it's match time!

No Disqualification: Chris Jericho vs. WWE Champion The Undertaker

Edge joins Grisham & Striker at the announce table for this one. Jericho ducks outside, Taker chases him around and eventually gets him on the apron with elbow strikes. Boot to the head of Jericho, who is lying with his head over the apron. Legdrop! Taker works over Jericho's arm in the ring, and sets him up for some Old School action…Jericho crotches Taker on the top turnbuckle and superplexes him off for two! Edge hates everybody. Taker fights back, whips Jericho into the corner and hits a clothesline. Snake Eyes, followed by the big boot! Legdrop gets two! Taker signals for the choke slam, but Jericho goes outside. He decides to taunt Edge, Taker attacks from behind and has some words for Edge before chucking Jericho over the announce table! Edge moves out of the way and more words are had between the two. Taker throws Jericho into the ring, and then boots Edge in the face! Jericho hits a DDT on an unsuspecting Taker for two. He then removes the turnbuckle pad, Taker gets him from behind, Jericho fights out of the choke slam attempt but gets kicked into the exposed turnbuckle! Last Ride for Jericho! Edge runs in with a spear on the Undertaker! No disqualification, so this is still going on as Edge leaves ringside. Taker does the zombie situp and picks up Jericho, but Chris hits a Codebreaker on the Dead Man and gets the three count!

Winner: Chris Jericho (***)

In what most would consider an upset, Chris Jericho has pinned the Undertaker! Will he ride the momentum into the Elimination Chamber? Jericho raises his arm in victory on the ramp as Taker rolls his eyes into the back of his head in the ring, and we fade to black.
