We get a video to hype the return of the Nexus on NXT, as they ask if more destruction is coming.
Michael Cole says there is a feeling of impending disaster as he welcomes us to the show and goes to Matt Striker and Ashley Valence. Ashley and Matt introduce the WWE pros. Morrison is limping after the attack from the Nexus last night. Mark Henry has to be held back from going after The Miz. Ashley then introduces The Nexus, wearing those "N" shirts, and they also get a roll call of sorts, without Darren Young. Wade says this is a celebration of their victory over John Cena. He then wishes the rookies good luck and tells the pros that they just want to sit back and enjoy the show.
The Miz and Alex Riley vs. Mark Henry and Lucky Cannon
We get highlights of The Miz's attack on Mark Henry from last night. Mark starts the match with Alex Riley as Alex tells Mark he has to go through him. They lockup and Riley just gets tossed. Alex tries sweet talking Mark and going from the cheap kick, but Mark catches the leg and hits a huge clothesline and a club to the back. Henry tosses Riley to the floor and yells at The Miz, before The Miz yells at Riley. Henry attacks Riley as he enters the ring and clubs him across the neck. Mark tries to get Miz to make a tag, but then tags in Lucky. Lucky goes to an arm wrench and takes down Riley. Lucky drops a knee to the arm, but lets Riley up. Riley hits a shoulder block, but Cannon hits a series of clotheslines, eventually sending Riley to the floor. Cannon goes up and over with a splash, but he hits his own face across the steel steps as we go to commercial. That definitely did not look like that was planned.
Back from the break and we see Riley getting a near fall before getting a replay of that crash. The Miz gets tagged in and kicks away on Lucky in the corner. Miz runs and hits the running clothesline in the corner for a two count. Miz drops Lucky with a right hand and kicks him in the face for a two count. Riley tagged in and he stomps away before applying a chin lock. Lucky elbows out, but gets caught with a hip toss for two. Riley cheap shots Henry and tags in The Miz, but Riley quickly tags back in and clubs Lucky. Back to the chin lock, but he gets up and runs off the ropes… and right into a power slam from Lucky. Miz gets tagged in and so does Mark Henry. Mark pounds on The Miz and splashes him in the corner. Mark Henry with a gorilla press slam on The Miz. Miz gets tossed across the ring and he tags in Riley, which stunned the rookie. Mark lifts Riley up off the apron and hits the World's Strongest Slam for the three count. After the bell, Henry grabs a trash can and dumps garbage on Riley as The Miz just backs away.
Winners: Mark Henry and Lucky Cannon
Michael Cole and Josh Matthews hype up Money in the Bank slightly before we get to a video of the pro's thoughts on Alex Riley. Kofi calls him confidant as The Miz just hypes him up. Cody and Zack says that he needs to grow up and get out of high school. Morrison says he is as annoying as The Miz. Kofi says that people hate him, but it's better than people being silent when he comes out.
We get a promo video with highlights from the last Money in the Bank from WrestleMania and then Swagger cashing in that week. We then get Money in the Bank hype, with Raw's and Smackdown's matches, plus both World Title matches.
We then get highlights up The Nexus winning a six on one match against John Cena last night on Raw and then Sheamus coming to Cena's aid.
It's time for Percy Watson's talk show. Percy has some funky music as it looks like the MVP lounge. Percy speaks way too fast for me to understand as he hypes up the crowd. Percy says it was easy to choose a guest for his show and he brings out he friend, pro, and mentor… MVP. Cole says Percy is a little too excited as he and MVP sit down. Percy asks to borrow $20 and they will talk about it later. Percy thanks MVP for teaching him everything since he got here. MVP says that he needs to listen and take it to the ring and gets the crowd to give him a round of applause. Percy says he is going to grab the moment right now and out comes the rest of the rookies. Percy apologizes for this, but here comes the pros as well and MVP says to make it a party. Striker comes out and says that the rookies are looking to test the pros and sets up an Over the Top Battle Royal. Wade Barrett says they all forgot about the Nexus and says he would love to be involved in a match where it is every man for themselves and Wade Barrett will end up as the winner. The Nexus come to the ring as we go to commercial.
20 Man Battle Royal: NXT Rookies, NXT Pros, and the Nexus
Ok, fair warning. There is no way I will be able to get everything. Most likely I will be missing some stuff, but let's face it, these matches are impossible.
The bell rings as we return from the commercial and all hell breaks loose as The Nexus goes to the floor by going through the ropes, but not over. All the rookies gain up on Mark Henry and eliminate him. As soon as he is out, Mark Henry gets beat down by The Nexus. Eli Cottonwood is eliminated and the same thing happens to him as he eats a power clothesline from Skip Sheffield. Percy hangs on and Morrison is dangling. Miz eliminates MVP and is surrounded by The Nexus. Kofi and Morrison get out of the ring to help MVP escape a beat down and then head back into the ring as we go to commercial. Those two were not eliminated as they never went over the top rope.
Back from the break and now The Nexus enter the ring and start attacking everyone. Percy Watson gets dumped over the top rope as Michael works on Barrett. The Nexus continues to dominate, but Otunga gets worked over by Morrison. Michael gets thrown over the top rope and now The Nexus regroup in the corner and Husky goes after them, but gets dumped. Alex Riley gets tossed as he neck is bloody from something. Kaval then gets tossed, leaving the entire Nexus against Ryder, Rhodes, Morrison, Kofi, and The Miz. Ryder talks trash to the Nexus and The Miz dumps him over the top rope. The other pros give him hell as he tries to make a deal with the Nexus, but then realizes it won't happen and eliminates himself. Kingston and Morrison go after the Nexus and Rhodes also plays it safe and watches the carnage as both men gets attacked by a three on one. Rhodes continues to hide as the numbers game is crazy. Morrison and Kofi start to fight back, but get nowhere. Morrison finally gets dumped, but he skins the cat and The Nexus stay on top of him before they finally get him to let go and get dumped. Kofi is now pretty much the victim of a six on one attack as Rhodes is still staying away. They finally dump Kofi over the top and now Rhodes is left alone with the Nexus. Rhodes realizes his idea backfired and tries to extend the hand to anyone, but he gets nowhere. They all jump him finally and stomp the crap out of him before dumping him over the top rope quickly.
Winners: The Nexus
Tarver and Otunga bring Kofi and Rhodes back into the ring as Morrison fights and just gets beat down on the floor. Kofi gets dropped by Wade with the DVD Slam and Otunga spinebusters Rhodes. Gabriel heads up top and hits the 450 splash on Rhodes as Striker heads to the ring to ask what they think of the fans thoughts of them. Wade says he has no problem with him, but he better back up before things get ugly. Wade says that they proved that they belong here and their actions are part of the bigger picture. Striker then asks if they are proud of what they did to Cena on Monday. He says he is proud of everything he has ever done in the ring and then says that you are either "Nexus or against us". We end the program with them all standing tall.
